Secondary School „Bishop Konstantin Preslavski“ – Burgas is a place where education meets innovation, creating an inspiring environment for students. With a long history, the school was founded in 1976 and today stands as one of the largest and leading educational institutions in Burgas. Located in the modern and dynamic district of „Slaveykov“, the school offers education that combines traditional values with the latest educational approaches.
Over the years, „Preslavski“ has become a symbol of quality education and continuous development. In 2018, we were granted the status of an innovative school, which opened new horizons for students – they have the opportunity to be taught through modern and interactive methods that prepare them for a brighter future. The specialized classes in tour guiding, computer animation, graphic design, and fashion design, offered after the 7th grade, provide unique professional opportunities for development in creative and technological fields.
With over 1000 students, „Preslavski“ also prides itself on a high level of foreign language education – from English, Russian, and German to Spanish, Italian, Chinese, and Korean. The educational activities are designed to give every student the opportunity to develop their interests and skills in various fields – science, art, or sports.
Extracurricular activities are an integral part of life at „Preslavski“. Our students actively participate in civic initiatives, projects, and sports competitions. The successes of our students in national and international Olympiads in the humanities and foreign languages, as well as in competitions in football, volleyball, chess, fire-fighting sports, and road safety, reflect the strong traditions and commitment built over the years.
Our school boasts a modern and well-maintained infrastructure for education, extracurricular activities, and sports. In 2019, we opened the Innovation and Arts Center, which inspires students to explore and develop their aesthetic perception of the world around them.
Last but not least, at Secondary School „Bishop Konstantin Preslavski“ – Burgas, we participate in numerous national and international projects. Programs like Erasmus+ and cross-border cooperation provide our students with the opportunity to gain international experience and professional skills that prepare them for future success in a globalized world.
At „Preslavski,“ every student feels accepted, supported, and motivated to achieve their goals. Our school motto, „Feel at home!“ reflects our core priority – that for us, the school is not just a place for learning, but a home for inspiration and the development of our students.
